The rules for using Phase.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], trading as Phase (“Phase,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your use of the Phase app, related services, and this website. By downloading, accessing, or using Phase, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use Phase. If you use Phase for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.

2. The service

Phase provides astrology tools that can create natal and divisional charts, daily readings, timing and transit information, compatibility results, reports, and optional AI-assisted explanations. Features can vary by device, country, app version, account state, and availability of third-party services.

Phase may change, add, suspend, or remove features when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, service quality, or product development. Where a change materially affects a paid entitlement, we will provide notice where required by law or the applicable app-store rules.

3. Important limitations: reflection, not professional advice

Phase is provided for personal reflection and entertainment. Astrology, generated readings, compatibility results, predictions, and AI-assisted content are not facts, guarantees, diagnoses, or professional advice. They should not be used as the sole basis for decisions about health, mental health, pregnancy, relationships, safety, emergencies, legal matters, education, employment, insurance, investments, credit, taxes, or finances.

Seek a qualified professional for medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other expert advice. In an emergency, contact local emergency services or an appropriate emergency professional. You remain responsible for your choices, actions, and decisions.

4. Accounts, profiles, and your responsibilities

• You must provide accurate account and profile information and keep your account credentials secure.
• You may use Phase as a guest or use Google, Apple, phone, or email sign-in where those options are available. You are responsible for activity under your account unless it results from our failure to protect it.
• You may create profiles for yourself or another person only when you have a lawful basis and appropriate permission to provide their information.
• Do not enter data that is false, unlawful, infringing, or more sensitive than the requested feature needs.
• You can delete an account through the app or, for a recoverable account, the public account deletion page. See the Privacy Policy’s deletion section for the scope and limits of deletion, including exported files and device backups.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse Phase. In particular, you must not:

• break the law, infringe another person’s rights, or violate their privacy;
• use Phase to harass, threaten, exploit, discriminate against, deceive, or harm someone;
• use readings or compatibility features to make high-impact decisions about another person;
• try to access another user’s account, data, backup, systems, or credentials;
• interfere with the app, reverse engineer it except where law cannot prohibit that activity, circumvent security or payment controls, or use automated means to overload the service;
• submit malicious code, unlawful content, or material that you do not have the right to submit.

6. AI-assisted content

Some Phase features use AI to generate explanations or reports from the information you submit and the chart calculations. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Review it critically and do not treat it as a substitute for professional judgment.

Do not submit secrets, health records, government identifiers, passwords, payment-card information, or other unnecessary sensitive information in chat prompts. You are responsible for the content you provide and for your use of generated output. The data handling for these features is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Purchases, virtual credits, and refunds

This section applies only if Phase offers paid products, subscriptions, or virtual credits in your version of the app. The current product configuration, price, currency, tax, and purchase availability are displayed by the applicable app store at checkout.

• Purchases must be made through the app store designated in the app. The store’s terms, billing rules, and refund process also apply.
• Virtual credits, if offered, are a limited, personal, non-transferable right to unlock eligible Phase features. They are not money, do not have cash value, cannot be sold or exchanged, and are not a bank account or stored-value product.
• We will not make purchased credits expire except where permitted by applicable law and clearly disclosed before purchase. [CONFIRM THE FINAL CREDIT-EXPIRY RULE BEFORE PUBLICATION.]
• We may verify purchases, reverse fraudulently obtained or refunded entitlements, and correct obvious pricing or technical errors to the extent permitted by law.
• Refund eligibility is governed by mandatory law and the relevant app store’s policies. Contact the store first for a store-billed purchase; contact [SUPPORT-EMAIL] if you need Phase support.

Promotional coins

Phase may offer promotional coins, including welcome credits. The amount, availability, and eligibility conditions are described with the applicable offer. Grants are subject to identity checks, promotional limits, and previous claims. Ending an offer does not itself reduce a balance already granted to your account, and coins already spent are not restored.

Reinstalling Phase or signing back into the same account does not create a new welcome grant. After successful account deletion, a matching new registration is ineligible for welcome coins for 15 days. After that restriction expires, a new registration may qualify again; an existing or previously denied account is not automatically refilled. The 15-day restriction is an abuse-prevention period, not an expiry period for wallet coins. The retained records and cleanup process are explained in the Privacy Policy.

Unused coins when you delete your account

Successful account deletion removes the account’s coin wallet and any remaining coins, including promotional coins. Those coins cannot be restored or transferred to a new account. This does not limit any refund rights you have under applicable law or the relevant app store’s policies.

8. Availability and third-party services

We aim to keep Phase available, but it may be unavailable, delayed, or contain errors. Internet access, app stores, Firebase, identity providers, AI providers, place search, and your device are outside our direct control. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability of any feature or output.

Keep copies of anything important to you. Phase does not provide an in-app backup or restore feature and does not guarantee that a local record will remain recoverable after deletion, storage clearing, device loss, or uninstallation.

9. Ownership and feedback

Phase and its software, branding, designs, and non-user content are owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to use Phase for its intended purpose.

You retain rights you have in the information you submit. You grant us the limited rights necessary to host, process, display, secure, and improve the service for you. If you send feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them without compensation or obligation to you.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Phase is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from Phase or these Terms.

11. Ending use

You may stop using Phase at any time and delete your account in the app. We may suspend or end access if we reasonably believe you breached these Terms, created risk for users or Phase, or if required by law. We will give notice when reasonably practical.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability, and general terms—will survive.

12. General terms

These Terms are governed by the laws of [INSERT GOVERNING JURISDICTION], excluding conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer law says otherwise. Courts or dispute-resolution bodies in [INSERT VENUE] will have jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable right you have to bring a claim elsewhere.
